Chardonnay’s leaves are medium-sized and entire without marked lobes, fairly flat, and of a shiny green colour. The teeth on the leaves have rectilinear sides and an open petiolar sinus. The clusters are little and compact with small berries that produce creamy wines with good body. The aromas vary according to the climactic conditions, with warmer locations producing a more tropical style and cooler areas a more citrus or green fruit profile.
This is one of the world’s favourite white varieties, revealing particularly good potential in cool-climate areas like Casablanca and San Antonio, as well as having great success in Limarí, in northern Chile, where it acquires more mineral notes.
Bright lemon yellow color with golden nuances.
Intense tropical fruit notes, such as pineapple, guava and banana, along with subtle citric notes of grapefruit and pomegranate.
Smooth sensation on the palate with a creamy texture and a well balanced acidity that harmonized perfectly with its fruity flavors of citric and tropical style.
This wine pairs very well with white meats, fishes and seafood in general. Enjoy it also with cheeses and creamy pastas.
