A good wine is not only the one that seduces with its taste and aroma but also one that considers universal protocols of quality, the protection of the environment and its workers in all its production stages.
At MontGras we have various certifications which are an integrated requisite to our corporate culture of striving for excellence.
The Sustainability Code of Wines of Chile is designed to incorporate sustainable practices in wine companies, on the basis of requirements in three complementary areas:
MontGras joined this voluntary system in 2011 when the agricultural (green) area was certified with our San José and Ninquén vineyards in Colchagua and Intriga in Maipo. In 2013, we obtained the certification in the red and orange areas, demonstrating our management skills to reduce the potential environmental and social risks caused by the activities involved in winemaking.
Since 2014, MontGras has the BRC Certification, a normative developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) who represent 90% of the minority commerce in the U.K., demonstrating our conformity level in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), hygiene, food security and quality systems as well as the commitment with the safety of the consumer.
