The first MontGras vineyards were planted in 1993 in the San José Estate. We started with 50 hectares (125 acres) and today, after purchaing additional estates with special characteristics, they add up to more than 900 hectares (2,223 acres), planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc.
