VINEYARDS

In the tireless search to produce wines of the highest quality, we have planted our vineyards in the main wine valleys of Chile, transforming the creation of each wine into a permanent journey, which runs through the heights of the Andes Mountains, through the warmth of the Central Valley, and reaches the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean.

LEYDA
Our vineyards in Amaral are born 12 km from the Pacific Ocean where the cold Humboldt currents that come from Antarctica, generate a very special microclimate with cooler temperatures, with winters of no more than 250 mm of annual rain, together with a dry summer with a characteristic morning mist that provides high salinity and expressive minerality.
 MAIPO
Vineyards planted since 1865 in Alto Maipo, at the foot of the Andes mountain on ancient alluvial soils formed of rocks from the Maipo River and the Andes. The geological system at Intriga is very similar to that of the Left Bank in Bordeaux, France with deep soils, low fertility and good drainage, allowing the production of world-class wines.
 COLCHAGUA Colchagua Valley is one of the most recognized wine-producing areas in Chile for its great quality, with a diverse geography between the mountains and by the coast. The first MontGras vineyards were planted in 1993 in San José where our main winery is located.
 COLCHAGUA COSTA
In 2007 we began to plant our farm in Pumanque, which means “place of condors”. Located just 65 km from the sea, it receives all its cold influence directly. Its shallow, granitic and poor soil allows for balanced and low vigor plants.
 NINQUÉN Founded in 1998 in the heart of Colchagua Valley, one of our most emblematic fields is Ninquen, as it was one of the first mountain vineyards in Chile. It corresponds to an island mountain, a remnant of the Cordillera de la Costa that is 300 meters above sea level and is characterized by having soils of volcanic origin with little organic matter and shallow with a great diversity of native flora and fauna.

Nuestros viñedos en AMARAL nacen a tan solo 12 km del Océano Pacífico, donde las frías corrientes de Humboldt que provienen de la Antártida, generan un microclima muy especial con temperaturas más frescas, con inviernos de no más de 250 mm de lluvia anual, junto a un verano seco con una característica niebla matinal que aporta una alta salinidad y expresiva mineralidad.

 COLCHAGUA El Valle de Colchagua es una de las zonas vitivinícolas más reconocidas en Chile por su gran calidad, contando con una diversa geografía Entre Cordilleras y hacia la Costa. Los primeros viñedos de MontGras fueron plantados en 1993 en el fundo San José donde se encuentra ubicada nuestra principal bodega de vinificación.
 COLCHAGUA COSTA El 2007 comenzamos a plantar nuestro fundo de Pumanque, que significa “lugar de cóndores”. Ubicado a sólo 65 km del mar, recibe toda su fría influencia de manera directa. Su suelo poco profundo, granítico y pobre, permite tener plantas equilibradas y de bajo vigor. NINQUÉN Fundado en 1998, en el corazón del Valle de Colchagua, uno de nuestros campos más emblemáticos es Ninquén, ya que fue uno de los primeros viñedos de montaña en Chile. Corresponde a una montaña isla, remanente de la Cordillera de la Costa que se encuentra a 300 msnm y que se caracteriza por tener suelos de origen volcánico de escasa materia orgánica y poco profundos con una gran diversidad de flora nativa y fauna.

 MAIPO Viñedos plantados en 1865 en el sector de Alto Maipo, a los pies de la Cordillera de Los Andes sobre suelos aluviales milenarios formados de rocas provenientes del Río Maipo y Los Andes. El sistema geológico en INTRIGA es muy similar al de la orilla izquierda en Burdeos, Francia con suelos profundos, de baja fertilidad y buen drenaje, permitiendo producir vinos de categoría mundial
